Trintellix (Vortioxetine) belongs to a family of medications known as “antidepressants”. It is used to treat the symptoms of serious depressive disorder in adults. Known as a serotonin modulator, it boosts the effectiveness of how serotonin is used in the brain. Serotonin is a chemical created by the body associated with mood and emotion. Trintellix may enhance your mood, sleep, appetite and energy level and may assist you in reinstating your interest in daily living.

The brand Trintellix is manufactured by Lundbeck and comes from Canada. It is available in quantities of 84 and in the strength of 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg tablets. We do not currently possess the generic version Vortioxetine.
Get medical help immediately if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking Rosuvastatin.
• Abdominal cramps
• Difficulty breathing
• Nausea and vomiting
• Swelling of the face or throat
Cease taking the medication and get immediate medical help if any of the following occur.
• Seizure or convulsions
• Signs of serotonin syndrome (e.g., agitation, confusion, diarrhea, fever, overactive reflexes, poor coordination, restlessness, shivering, sweating, talking or acting with excitement you cannot control, trembling or shaking, twitching)
• Signs of bleeding in the stomach (e.g., bloody, black, or tarry stools, spitting up of blood, vomiting blood or material that looks like coffee grounds)
• Thoughts of suicide or hurting yourself

Before beginning Trintellix, consult with your healthcare professional about if you have or have had liver problems, seizures or convulsions, bipolar disorder (manic depression) or mania, low salt (sodium) levels in your blood, bleeding problems, consume alcohol, are using marijuana, if you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant, are nursing or any other significant facts about your health. Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your healthcare professional, usually once daily. Speak to your doctor about any other medications you are using, as there may be an interaction between Trintellix and other medications such as anticoagulants, 2D6 inhibitors, Pethidine, etc.
