Frova (Frovatriptan) is a migraine medication that is used to treat migraine headaches with or without warning signs in adults. Frovatriptan belongs to a group of drugs called triptans. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in the brain, which helps to relieve migraines. It may also block other pain pathways in the brain. Frova helps to relieve headache, pain and other symptoms including nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound. This medication should not be used to prevent migraines. Frova should not be used for other types of headache or for headache prevention.
