Climara Patch Information
Climara transdermal skin patch (Estradiol-17b) is a female hormone (estrogen) patch that is used to treat certain symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness and irritation. This medication may also be used to prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis or to treat ovarian disorders. Climara patches are also used by women who are not able to produce enough estrogen. Climara patches work by releasing estradiol into the blood through the skin.
We currently have the brand Climara Patch Turkey manufactured by Bayer and the brand Femseven from UK manufactured by Merck. The generic comes from Canada. Climara patch is available in the strength of 50 mcg, 75mcg, 100mcg patches.

Do not use this medication if you are breast-feeding a baby because this medication can pass into breast milk and it may also slow breast milk production.
