Zestril Information

Zestril (Lisinopril) is an ACE inhibitor that is used to treat high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. It may also be used immediately after a heart attack in order to reduce the risk of having another heart attack. This medication works by relaxing blood vessels and helping the heart to pump blood that carries oxygen to other parts of the body more efficiently.

Common side effects include:

There may be an interaction between Lisinopril and other medications such as antidiabetes medications, water pills, beta blockers, NSAIDS, blood pressure medications, potassium-sparing diuretics.
