Tagrisso (Osimertinib Mesylate) is a cancer medication that is used to treat a certain type of non-small cell lung cancer. Osimertinib belongs to a class of drugs known as kinase inhibitors. This medication inhibits the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. It binds to certain protein called epidermal growth factor receptor-EGFR in some tumors. Tagrisso is usually taken once daily with or without food or as directed by your doctor.

It is important that you prevent pregnancy while taking this medication and after treatment. Inform your doctor right away if you think you are pregnant. It is unknown if this drug passes into breast milk.
