Redoxon (Vitamins) is an over-the-counter product used to treat and prevent Vitamin C and Zinc deficiencies. It is often used to support the immune system, especially at the onset of cold and flu symptoms, or in cases of increased demand, like wound healing. Vitamin C deficiency primarily results from inadequate dietary intake of fresh fruits and vegetables, pregnancy, illness, smoking, or surgery. Zinc deficiency stems from insufficient nutritional intake, malabsorption syndromes, chronic diseases, medications, alcoholism, and increased metabolic demand during pregnancy or illness. The active ingredients in Redoxon are Vitamin C and Zinc. Redoxon belongs to a class of drugs called vitamins and Mineral Supplements. It works by enhancing immune function, stimulating collagen production and cell repair, and promoting iron absorption.
