Prinivil (Lisinopril) is used to treat high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, and to improve survival after a heart attack. Lisinopril belongs to a class of medications called ACE inhibitors. This medication works by relaxing blood vessels and it helps the heart to pump blood that carries oxygen to the different parts of the body more efficiently.
