Parsitan (Ethopropazine Hydrochloride) is a prescription medication that is used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease to improve muscle control and reduce stiffness. This medication is also used to reduce tremor and restlessness associated with the use of other medications. Ethopropazine belongs to the class of medications called phenothiazines. It works by affecting the balance of chemicals called acetylcholine in the central nervous system. The recommended adult dose of Ethopropazine ranges from 100 mg to 500 mg daily in 2 or 3 divided doses with or without food.
