Parsitan (Ethopropazine Hydrochloride) is a prescription medication that is used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease to improve muscle control and reduce stiffness. This medication is also used to reduce tremor and restlessness associated with the use of other medications. Ethopropazine belongs to the class of medications called phenothiazines. It works by affecting the balance of chemicals called acetylcholine in the central nervous system. The recommended adult dose of Ethopropazine ranges from 100 mg to 500 mg daily in 2 or 3 divided doses with or without food.

The common side effects of Parsitan may include constipation, decreased sweating, dizziness or lightheadedness, drowsiness, headache, increased sensitivity of the eyes to light and nausea or vomiting.
Talk to doctor as soon as possible if you have any of the following side effects such as:
• Blurred vision;
• Confusion or memory impairment;
• Difficult or painful urination;
• Eye pain;
• Fainting;
• Loss of memory;
• Numbness or weakness in the hands or feet;
