It can also help to stop unusual heartbeats after a heart attack. The active ingredient in Norpace is Disopyramide. Disopyramide belongs to a class of drugs called anti-arrhythmic medications. It works by blocking certain electrical signals that cause irregular heartbeat in the heart.
