Use this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribes it. Nicorette is an inhaler. The Nicorette Inhaler consists of a mouthpiece and a cartridge containing a nicotine plug. You inhale from the mouthpiece to release the nicotine into your bloodstream. The inhaler is a replacement for cigarettes, not an addition. Start using Nicorette Inhaler on the same day you stop smoking. Inform your doctor if you are unable to stop smoking after using the inhaler for 6 weeks. This medicine is habit-forming if you use it for too long. Do not use Nicorette Inhaler for longer than 6 months without your doctor's advice. Store the inhaler cartridges away from moisture, heat and light. Keep away from open flame or high heat, such as in a car on a hot day. Keep out of the reach of children.
