Mirapex ER (Pramiprexole Extended Release, Pramiprexole DI-HCL) is prescription medication used to treat Parkinson’s disease symptoms such as muscle spasms, poor muscle control, stiffness, and tremors. Pramiprexole is also used to treat restless legs syndrome (RLS). We currently have the brand Mirapex ER also called Pexola ER comes from Turkey manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim. It is supplied as tablet form and available in a variety of strengths: 0.375 mg, 0.75 mg, 1.5 mg, 3 mg, and 4.5 mg. Generic alternative is not available for this drug.
The most common side effects of Mirapex ER include:
• Dry mouth;
• Loss of interest in sex;

• Chest pain;
• Feeling light-headed;
• Mood or behavior changes;
• Muscle cramps pain;
• Trouble breathing;
Mirapex ER may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Patients may fall asleep during activities of daily living. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Do not take Mirapex ER if you are allergic to Pramiprexole or any other ingredients in this medication. Tell your doctor about all the medical conditions you have had before, especially if you have:
• Dyskinesia or uncontrolled;
• Kidney disease;
• Sleep disorder;
