Minims Pilocarpine (Pilocarpine Nitrate) is a prescription medication used to treat eye conditions such as glaucoma. Glaucoma is a disease that damages the eye’s optic nerve when fluid builds up and increases pressure inside the eye. Minims Pilocarpine is also used to reverse the effects of eye drops, which cause the pupil to enlarge. The active ingredient in Minims Pilocarpine is Pilocarpine Nitrate. Pilocarpine Nitrate belongs to a class of medications called miotic agents. It works by making the eye pupil smaller and decreasing the amount of fluid within the eye.
