Incruse Ellipta (Umeclidinium Bromide) is prescription oral inhalation medication used to treat symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) including chronic bronchitis and/or emphysema. Umeclidinium is a long-acting anticholinergic that works by helping the muscles in your lung stay relaxed to improve symptoms such as cough, chest tightness, wheezing, and short of breath. It is used for long-term once-daily maintenance treatment only and should NOT be used to treat sudden symptoms of COPD. Always take a rescue inhaler for the relief of acute symptoms. Use Incruse Ellipta inhaler exactly prescribed.
We currently have the brand Incruse Ellipta comes from Canada manufactured by GSK. It is available in dry powder for oral inhalation use containing 62.5 mcg Umeclidinium and 30 doses. Generic Umeclidinium Bromide inhaler is currently unavailable.
The most common side effects of Incruse Ellipta inhaler include:
• Back pain or neck pain;
• Joint or muscle pain;
• Runny or stuffy nose;
• Sore throat;
• Stomach pain;
• Upper respiratory infection;
If you suffer any serious side effects as below, please notify your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
• Breathing problems;
• Difficult or painful urinating;
• Eye pain or other eye problems;
• Vision changes;
• Serious allergic reactions including hives, rash, swelling of the face, mouth, and tongue;
Do not take Incruse Ellipta inhalation if you are allergic to Umeclidinium Bromide or milk proteins or any ingredient in this medication. Tell your doctor about all the medical conditions you have had before.
• Bladder or prostate problems;
• Eye problems such as glaucoma;
• Heart problems;
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking including prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines including herbal supplements, especially: anticholinergics. This may cause a serious or fatal drug interaction.
