Imbruvica (Ibrutinib) is prescription medication used for the treatments of patients with:
• Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who have received at least one prior therapy;
• Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/ small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL);
• Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/ small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) with 17p deletion;
• Waldenström's macroglobulinemia (WM);
Ibrutinib is a target therapy specifically called a Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor that works by preventing the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Take exactly as prescribed.

We now supply the brand Imbruvica comes from Canada manufactured by Janssen. It is available in oral capsule form and one dosage strength of 140 mg. There is currently no generic equivalent of Imbruvica.
The most common side effects of Imbruvica include:
• Abdominal pain;
• Chills, flu, or fever symptoms;
• Constipation;
• Diarrhea;
• Easy bruising or bleeding;
• Fatigue;
• Headache;
• Muscle and bone pain;
• Nausea;
• Rash;
If you suffer any serious side effects as below, please notify your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
• Cheat pain;
• Confusion;
• Difficult or painful urination;
• Easy bruising or bleeding;
• Fainting;
• Fast or irregular heartbeat;
• Muscle spasms or weakness;
• Numbness or tingly feeling;
• Ongoing or severe diarrhea;
• Secondary primary cancers;
• Severe weakness;
• Vision changes;
Do not take Imbruvica if you are allergic to Ibrutinib or any ingredients in this medication. Tell your doctor about all the medical conditions you have had before.
• Any infection;
• Bleeding or blood clotting disorder;
• Diabetes;
• Heart disease;
• High blood pressure;
• High cholesterol;
• If you have recently had a surgery;
• Kidney or liver disease;
Do NOT have an immunization or vaccination with approval from your doctor Avoid contact with people who have recently received live vaccines. Do NOT take Imbruvica if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Effective birth control must be used during the Imbruvica treatment and for at least 3 months after stopping taking this medication.
Avoid grapefruit juice and Seville oranges while you are taking Imbruvica. It is important to drink enough water or fluids to help your kidney working properly while you are taking Imbruvica. Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking including prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines including herbal supplements. Especially: blood thinners, St.John’s wort, or other drugs that can cause bleeding or bruising, etc. This may change how your medications work or increase the risk for serious side effects.
