Hadlima (Adalimumab) is a prescription medication used to reduce signs and symptoms of moderate to severe arthritis in adults, moderate to severe polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis in children aged at least 2 years, and psoriatic arthritis in adults. The drug is also used to reduce the symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis in adults and moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) in adults. Hadlima is also used to treat severe Crohn's disease in children at least 6 years old and moderate to severe ulcerative colitis in adults. The drug is also used for other conditions like severe chronic plaque psoriasis and non-infectious intermediate, posterior, and panuveitis in adults. The active ingredient in Hadlima is Adalimumab. Adalimumab belongs to a class of medications known as tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of TNF, a substance in the body that causes inflammation.
