Dermburo (Astringent Solution) is an over-the-counter medication used to temporarily relieve symptoms of contact dermatitis, including skin irritation or rashes. Contact dermatitis is an itchy rash caused by direct contact with a substance or an allergic reaction. The rash isn’t contagious but can be very uncomfortable. Cosmetics, fragrances, jewelry, and plants are common substances that may cause this reaction. Dermburo is also used to temporarily relieve minor skin irritations caused by eczema, poison ivy, insect bites, and athlete’s foot. The active ingredient in Dermburo is Astringent Solution. Astringent solution belongs to a class of drugs called astringents. They work by removing excess oil from the skin, tightening the pores, and improving blood circulation. The drug clears up clogged pores and cools the skin to relieve symptoms of contact dermatitis temporarily.
