Coversyl Plus (Perindopril/Indapamide) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure. Left untreated, high blood pressure can damage vital organs, leading to conditions like heart failure, stroke, heart attack, vision loss, and kidney problems. Coversyl Plus is a combination medicine. The active ingredients in Coversyl Plus are Perindopril and Indapamide. Perindopril belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and helping the heart to pump oxygen-rich blood more efficiently to different parts of the body. Indapamide belongs to a class of drugs called diuretics. It works by removing excess salt and water, thereby helping the body regulate blood pressure.
