Budesonide Aq Nasal Spray (Budesonide) is a prescription medication used to treat and prevent seasonal and year-round allergies. Allergies are present with symptoms like sneezing, stuffy or runny nose, and itchy eyes, nose, or throat. The drug is also used to treat nasal polyps. Budesonide Aq nasal spray prevents new polyps from appearing and prevents recurrences of nasal polyps after surgery to remove polyps. The active ingredient in Budesonide Aq Nasal Spray is Budesonide. Budesonide belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids. It works by reducing inflammation in the nasal passages. This drug is only used to relieve symptoms of allergies. It should not be used to treat symptoms caused by the common cold.

You may not experience the full effects of this medicine until after 2 weeks of treatment. Clear your nasal passage by gently blowing your nose before using the spray. Store this medication at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.

How long does it take Budesonide Aq nasal spray to work?
Your symptoms may start to improve one to two days after you first start using budesonide but it may take up to two weeks before you feel the full benefit of the medication.
