Bryhali (Halobetasol Propionate) is a prescription lotion used on the skin to treat adults with plaque psoriasis and other skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, and rash. It helps relieve itching, inflammation, plaque buildup, flaking, and dryness in the areas affected by psoriasis. Halobetasol Propionate is a very strong corticosteroid. It works by activating natural substances in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching. Bryhali starts working right away; however, it may take up to two weeks to see an improvement in your condition.
We currently offer the brand Bryhali from Canada manufactured by Bausch Health in the strength of 0.01% lotion. The generic version is not available.
The most common side effects of Bryhali lotion may include burning, dryness at the application site, high blood sugar, itching, stinging, and upper respiratory tract infection.
