Bi- Peglyte Prep Kit (Bisacodyl/Polyethylene Glycol/Potassium Chloride/Sodium Bicarbonate/Sodium Chloride/Sodium Sulfate) is used for cleansing of the colon as a preparation for colonoscopy in adults. This product belongs to a therapeutic class called gastrointestinal lavage. Bi-Peglyte works by drawing large amounts of water into the colon, resulting in watery bowel movements. This clearing of the stool from the intestines helps your doctor to better examine the intestines during a colonoscopy.
