Betoptic Information

Betoptic (Betaxolol) is a prescription eye drop that is used to treat open-angle glaucoma and other eye conditions of high blood pressure inside the eye such as ocular hypertension. Betaxolol belongs to a class of drugs known as beta blockers. This medication works by decreasing the amount of fluid that is made within the eye. You can help prevent blindness by lowering high blood pressure inside the eye. The full effects of the eye drops may not be seen for a period of a few weeks.

Betoptic Side Effects

The common side effects of Betoptic may include blurred vision, dizziness, feeling as if something is in the eye, headache, temporary discomfort of the eye, trouble sleeping and watery dry itchy red eyes.
