Beclomethasone Aq Nasal Spray (Beclomethasone) is a prescription medication used to prevent and treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including seasonal and perennial allergies. Allergic rhinitis occurs when the immune system reacts to airborne allergens, such as pollen, dust mites, mold, or pet dander, leading to inflammation of the nasal passages. This inflammation can lead to nasal congestion, a runny nose, sneezing, and nasal itching. Beclomethasone AQ Nasal Spray helps control these symptoms by reducing inflammation within the nasal tissues. The active ingredient in Beclomethasone AQ Nasal Spray is Beclomethasone. Beclomethasone belongs to a class of medications known as corticosteroids. It works by suppressing inflammatory mediators and immune responses in the nasal mucosa, decreasing swelling, mucus production, and irritation. When used intranasally as directed, it primarily acts locally with minimal systemic absorption.
