Androcur is used to treat advanced prostate cancer. It may also be used to control hypersexuality in men. Androcur belongs to a class of drugs called steroidal antiandrogens. This medication works by causing a reduction in the production of testosterone in the testicles, which prostate cancer cells require for growth.
We currently offer the brand Androcur from Canada by PharmaScience and Turkey by Bayer. The generic version is not available.
