Alphagan Z (Brimonidine Tartrate) is a prescription ophthalmic solution used for the treatment of Glaucoma. It helps to regulate eye pressure in individuals suffering from open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Brimonidine belongs to the family of medications known as alpha-2-adrenergic receptor agonists. This medication works by reducing the amount of fluid produced by the eye and by increasing the flow of fluid out of the eye.
