AccuChek guide (Glucose testing product) is an over-the-counter device used to test blood sugar levels and manage diabetes. Diabetes occurs when there is a high level of blood sugar. Over time, this condition can damage your heart, eyes, kidneys, and blood vessels. AccuChek guide is a Glucose testing product. Use this device exactly as your doctor directs. Turn on the meter by pressing the OK button. The meter may turn on automatically when you insert a test strip. Insert the test strip into the meter in the direction of the arrows. Check the use-by date on the test strip container. Do not use expired test strips with the Accu-Chek guide. The results may be inaccurate. Prepare your lancing device. You can prime the lancing device by pressing the plunger until the release button turns yellow. Place the lancet's pinhole opening against your finger and press the release button. You can massage your finger towards the tip to help blood drop. Touch the yellow edge of the test strip to the blood drop. When enough blood has filled the strip, the display will show "analyzing." Your blood sugar reading will be ready in less than four seconds. The meter will also automatically display your previous result. The Accu-Chek Guide meter connects to the mySugr diabetes management app on your smartphone via Bluetooth. You can transfer your data to your doctor. Store this device at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
