Minims Tropicamide (Tropicamide) is a preservative-free single-use eye drops used to enlarge the pupil of the eye and to temporarily paralyse the lens so that your doctor can examine your eye. Tropicamide belongs to the class of medications called antimuscarinic agents. This medication works by relaxing certain eye muscles.

Minim Tropicamide eye drops should be kept in a
refrigerator (2-8 °C) away from strong light and children. Do not freeze the eye drops.
Discard any leftover medication in the single use unit immediately after use.
The common side effects of Minims Tropicamide may include dry mouth, eye sensitivity to light, eye stinging and temporary blurred vision.
Inform your doctor right away if you have any of these unlikely but serious side effects such as:
• Fast heartbeat;
• Feeling as if something is in the eye;
• Mental or mood changes;
• Muscle stiffness

Tropicamide may make your vision temporarily blurry. You should drive use machinery or do any activity that requires a clear vision until you are sure you can perform these activities safely. This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless it is clearly needed. It is unknown whether this medication passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before breast-feeding.
