Cold Fx is an over the counter medication used to help prevent the chances of catching a cold or flu as it helps reduce the frequency, severity, and duration of cold and flu symptoms by boosting the immune system. Panax Quinquefolium belongs to a class of drugs called adaptogen. It works by stimulating the body’s resistance to physical, environmental, and emotional stressors. This medication also contains ginsenosides, which seem to affect insulin levels and lower blood sugar. Using Cold FX may also provide additional protection against respiratory infection and reduce the incidence and severity of respiratory infections in healthy seniors.
