Avamys (Fluticasone Furoate) is a prescription nasal spray used to treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis that includes itching, runny/stuffy nose, sneezing, and watery, itchy red eyes. Avamys belong to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works by reducing swelling in the nasal passages. Avamys is used in patients over the age of 6 years old.

During pregnancy, this medication should only be used when needed. Discuss the risks with your doctor. It is unknown if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
