We all know the famous Korean actor Yoon Si Yoon. But have you seen him starring in his latest movie “You Raise Me Up”? This romantic K-drama comedy tells the story of a young man struggling with erectile dysfunction. But that’s not his only problem.

Beauty 321 explains the plot this way: “In the play, Yoon Si Yoon plays Du Yong Shik, who is not going well in life. Not only was he still unable to be admitted as a civil servant at the age of 31, but he also suffered from sexual dysfunction. With his self-esteem frustrated, he began to live in despair. Can Yong Zhi once again build up his collapsed self-esteem?”

The film will make people laugh and might also make them wonder about the reality of erectile dysfunction. Some people consider it a sexy comedy. However, the actor commented that while filming, he learned that erectile dysfunction damages not only the body, but also the mind.

According to Soompi, “The drama has garnered attention for its approach about a topic that is not often openly discussed on television, particularly in TV dramas.” The actors themselves wondered how the film would be received and if people would relate to it, especially since this is one of the first times a drama has dealt with a topic like this.

However, audiences have felt it was hilarious and maybe even learned something about this medical issue along the way. It’s a funny and lighthearted drama that might teach viewers not only about erectile dysfunction but also about gaining your confidence back.
