Xepi (Ozenoxacin) is a topical prescription medication used to treat impetigo – a certain skin infection. Ozenoxacin is a quinolone antimicrobial used for treatment of impetigo due to Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcus pyogenes. It’s approved for use in adults and children are more than 2 months old.
Xepi should be stored at room temperature 20-25ºC (68-77ºF). Apply a thin layer of Xepi cream to the infected area as directed to your doctor or pharmacist.

Xepi Side Effects
The common side effects of Xepi cream may including itching, skin dryness/flaking/peeling/redness, rosacea, scaly patches, etc. Consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately if those side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them.
Xepi cream is for topical use only and not for intranasal, or intravaginaluse, ophthalmic, or oral use. The treated area may be covered with a sterile bandage or gauze dressing. The prolonged use of Xepi may result in overgrowth of nonsusceptible bacteria and fungi. Wash your hands before and after applying the Xepi cream.
