Tricovel is an over-the-counter medication used to maintain and restore healthy hair. Hair loss often results from family history, age, significant weight loss, certain medical conditions, stress, and poor nutrition. Tricovel helps to reduce hair shedding due to Telogen Effluvium and promotes normal hair growth and regrowth. The drug also helps to strengthen hair and increase hair volume. The active ingredient in Tricovel is Biogenina. Biogenina is a patented technology. It works by increasing the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle and decreasing the telogen (rest) phase of the hair growth cycle. Tricovel stimulates the hair bulbs, resulting in normal growth, structure, and hair volume.

You should not take Tricovel if you are allergic to any ingredient in Tricovel. Before you start using this medication, tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you:
• Are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed;
• Are pregnant or planning to be pregnant
Tell your doctor about all your medications, including prescription, OTC, herbal supplements, and vitamins. There may be drug interactions between Tricovel and other medicines. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It is unknown if Tricovel will harm an unborn baby. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed. It is unknown if Tricovel passes into breast milk and if it may harm nursing infants. Take Tricovel precisely as prescribed by your doctor. Take only one tablet a day, preferably with breakfast or a main meal. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not chew. It is recommended to take the drugs for two months. You may repeat the treatment if needed two or three times a year as hair loss tends to occur around the time of seasonal changes. Tricovel may cause heartburn. You can manage this by taking tablets with food. Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children. Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
