Tasmar Information

Tasmar is used with other medications to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease (typically carbidopa and levodopa), such as stiffness, tremors, muscle spasms, and poor muscle control. It increases levels of levodopa in the body so it can last longer in the body and doesn’t wear off between doses. Tasmar is usually given to Parkinson’s patients who have not had successful relief from other treatments.

Manufacturer Information

We currently stock the brand name medication, Tasmar, manufactured by Meda Pharms (generic name: Tolcapone). It is available in the 100 mg (100 qty) dosage and dispensed from the United Kingdom.
