Pred Mild (Prednisolone Acetate) is an RX medication used for the treatment of eye inflammation caused by allergies, severe acne, shingles (herpes zoster), eye injury, chemical burns etc. Prednisone belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. This medication works by relieving symptoms such as swelling, redness and itching by changing the way the immune system works. The usual dose is to instill one to two drops into the conjunctival sac two to four times daily.

Side Effects

Pred Mild has some common side effects that may include burning, irritation in your eyes or mild stinging.
